1. Information covered
This policy applies to MinecraftRating.com. Sign-in may provide an account ID, public name, email and avatar from the chosen authentication provider. Server submissions may contain an address, description, images, links and owner information. Technical logs may contain visitor IP addresses, browser details, request times and paths.
2. Purposes and grounds
Information supports accounts, the directory, content management, support, abuse prevention and mandatory legal obligations. Optional analytics starts only after a separate Accept choice in the cookie notice. Analytics consent is not required to browse the directory. Requested functionality and legal obligations use the applicable processing grounds.
3. Copy tracking and public activity
A keyed cryptographic fingerprint of the normalised visitor IP prevents duplicate counts. The new copy-event table does not store the original IP. Events record the time, server and authenticated account ID when present. The public feed shows only the action, time and a public name or Guest; it does not expose email, account IDs or IP fingerprints. Requests to remove or anonymise account-related records are reviewed by the operator.
4. Cookies and Yandex.Metrika
Necessary cookies support sign-in, security and preferences. Your optional analytics choice is retained for 180 days. After consent, Yandex.Metrika counter 113768718 enables visit statistics, click maps and Webvisor. Its provider may process cookies and usage information under its own terms. Neither its script nor tracking pixel loads before consent or after rejection. Change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Closing the notice is not consent.
5. Recipients, retention and safeguards
Access is limited to support and operation needs. Hosting and authentication providers, and analytics providers after consent, may participate. Only intended directory information and public activity are published. Information is kept while needed for the stated purposes and mandatory requirements, then removed or anonymised when the grounds end. Access controls and HTTPS help protect it. Do not submit other people’s personal information or sensitive credentials.
6. Your rights and contact
You may request information about processing, corrections, cessation, deletion or anonymisation where applicable, and withdraw analytics consent. Write to support@minecraftrating.com with enough information to identify the relevant account or issue. The operator may request minimal proof that the account is yours. Requests are handled within applicable statutory time limits; competent authorities and courts remain available.
